Stradivarius strad copy 1713

Submitted by admin on Tue, 02/12/2008 - 19:02.

Inside of the violin is a label that reads Copy of Antonius Stradivarius Faciebat Cremona 1713 Made in Germany. That dates it to pre WW II and it is probably over 100 years old.

It is made of nice wood and they tried to do something different with the finish as the "burnt look" is original.

Our luthiery did more work on this than he charged for. Just about the full price is the value of the work done on it. The sound is good like all of these old German strad copies. Though the crack apparent on the front is not properly repaired by a previous luthiery, it is intact and does not do much to damage the sound.

For the sound, that makes this violin a bargain. For a young student it is the most economical way to go. I am sure that this would be cheaper than renting a violin for a year and this violin will sound better for your child to learn on.

If you are interested in purchasing a violin you can send me a message using the contact us form. I prefer to use Paypal for the transaction. Paypal is capable of accepting all major credit cards.

PRICE: $625.00
