3/4 Strad copy violin - For Sale

Submitted by admin on Mon, 02/11/2008 - 20:07.

This violin is  very rare.  It is rare because the good wood and quality building techniques used to construct this violin were usually reserved for full size violins.  Other cosmetic details such as the "Stradivarius" black out line are present in this violin. You will see this only in this violin and the Wolff Bros violin in this collection. In this violin the black outline is on the scroll but not on the sides. Another beautiful detail is ivory nut and saddle. Last but not least is the nice red toned varnish used for the finish on this fine violin.

It is well documented inside. Through the one F hole you can see stamped:

COPY OF

Antonious Stradivarius

Through the other F-hole you can see:

Salvadore di Durro

B & J, New York

Sole Importers

Because this violin is so rare and beautiful we spent a great deal of money to bring it back to virtually new condition.

This violin is a rare opportunity for families who have a tradition of music and violins. Families have bought these for their very talented children and then they (the violins) never leave the family.  They are saved for the next generation. To have one available for sale in this condition is truly extraordinary.

If you are interested in purchasing a violin you can send me a message using the contact us form. I prefer to use Paypal for the transaction. Paypal is capable of accepting all major credit cards.
